A remake of a popular Tamil film Minnale, the movie had some fantastic songs and gave the audience a heartthrob to admire – Madhavan. Also known by its acronym RHDTM, the movie felt very fresh and heartfelt in its depiction of love in the new millennial era.

  • Kal Ho Na Ho: This timeless Bollywood romantic movie starring Shah Rukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan and Preity Zinta in lead roles made every audience reach out for tissues. Set in rural Pakistan, the movie has an uncanny resemblance to Romeo and Juliet that is just as dramatic to watch.
