 We are living in a society where we celebrate each day as a celebration. There is a number of days which we celebrate from birthdays, anniversary, Bachler party, beach party etc. Each day becomes more special when you think of the couple and the beautiful relationship which they share.

Love and romance are so beautiful to hear, to feel and to express. It is the best way to make someone feel your love, understand your emotions and concern which one shows for that someone special.

Gone are the days when people used to feel ashamed about certain things or talk about sex in front of their friends, parents or society. Now it comes naturally to everyone’s mind. Even on television or films, it’s been shown in a broader way. It is no more showing as a social taboo.

INFLUENCE OF MOVIES

There are many films which are made and featured on sexual awareness.  The films like Kaamasutra, Satyam Shivam Sundram, Pink, Vikki Donor where people openly discuss sexual awareness like sex, about surrogacy, sperm donation or any other medical issues associated with it.

SOCIETY AND ITS OPINION

We are living in such a world where we can talk about infatuation, crush, love affair or marriage but feel ashamed about sexual health problems like Sexual dysfunction which could be physical or psychological, Erectile dysfunction, Premature ejaculation that prevents you or your partner from getting sexual satisfaction.

CONDOM AWARENESS WEEK

Now the question comes to Can Sexual Problems Be Cured?

The answer is yes!!

Of these 8 infections, 4 are currently curable: syphilis, gonorrhea, chlamydia, and trichomoniasis.

The other 4 are viral infections and are incurable: hepatitis B, herpes simplex virus (HSV or herpes), HIV, and human papillomavirus (HPV)

The success of treatment for sexual dysfunction depends on the underlying root cause of the problem. It’s time to speak out about such vital issues openly rather than keeping them in disguise and thereafter dragging to the cause of family issues or couple arguments.

There are ways that you can reduce your risk of catching or passing on an STI. Safer sex means not allowing your partner’s body fluids (blood, semen, vaginal fluids) into your body and vice versa. It can also mean covering up parts of the body that might be infectious during performing sex.

To discuss sexual problems and difficulties that couples face makes them feel very difficult to perform and ashamed. Some people feel so fearful, self-conscious to discuss their sexual problem that they do not feel comfortable worth discussing even with their partner. 

Sexual difficulties are very common and can have many causes. Their origins may be physical or mental.

Psychosexual therapy is one of the solutions that can deal with all issues regarding sex, sexuality and human relationships. It creates a greater understanding of physical issues relating to sex.

 The week of Feb.14 is designated as “condom awareness” week. So, this is the best time to talk boldly about sexual and condom awareness.

Use of contraceptive pills or condoms is a must for all adults. It not only controls population but also provides safe sex and helps to maintain hygiene among couples which helps to reduce various sexual related diseases or infections that can be very harmful if not taken care off at the right time.

The acceptability in society depends on the awareness, knowledge, and positive attitude among people towards condom. By Govt. bodies, various strategies had been adopted to create awareness and to spread correct knowledge about condom and its usage.

    Much awareness is required when it comes to using condoms in today’s sexually active generation.

  2. It’s important to talk about sexual health and I’m glad you are trying to raise awareness about the subject. When it comes to movies, eveŕyone is curious and wants to watch whether it’s Vicky Donor or any other but when it’s about health, they may not be as comfortable.
